Cold Blustery Day

Looking out of my window, the wind blows through the trees, dancing and swaying. A calmness comes over them and then once more they dance again. It's a cold wind, icy and brisk. Soon it'll get dark early, and the days will be short. Laundry will be hanging on the clothes racks and radiators around the house. Time will be spent in front of the fire, curled up with a book or playing a game. You know that Winter is settling in.....

I found that the brief but certainly cold snowstorm on my way into work yesterday, the huge amount of water dripping on me while i sat on the bus, an annoyingly large amount of toy adverts on the telly and only seeing daylight in my lunchbreak awakened me to the oncoming winter like a sledgehammer.....

Aha, People should start a campaign for radiators int the streets!! smiley - smiley

ViVa La Public Radiators!!

I like the idea of radiators in the streets, England sure can use some warming up!
Its an interesting coincidence Chairman as you are in Huddersfield and you have trouble with Australians *grin*

The Apprentice

Could that be perhaps we are not very good at counting backwards!!
Mind you I'd do have the habit of calling my brother in Darwin at 6.30 in the morning their time, but thats only to annoy him LOL~
It gets kinda confusing as there are 3 different time Zones in Australia too!!!
