Spending 3 weeks in my hometown I had no opportunity to surf the web. Now I should learn for an exam I have next week, but what am I doing?!?!
Last week I was in Munich for 3 days. I´ve never been there before and I was really surprised that there are such a lot of things to see. Staying a week would have been better. Sure I went to the "Hofbräuhaus" ( It´s called the most famous restaurant of the world, I wonder if that´s true) and I ordered a "Maß"(1 litre of beer) . But apart from this really Bavarian stuff I also went in a galerie where some paintings from Franz Marc were shown (Take a look at my article!).
The people in Munich were extremely nice and friendly, I must say. They help you to find your way without beeing asked.

Gutentag! I'd better stick to English because my German has suffered much from little use in the past 15 years. Saying hi here because I once spent a few days in Munich, but I didn't go to the Hofbrauhaus. I went Museum hopping with some guys who were visiting Munich from Frankfurt. We had a BALL! I was supposed to go on a bus tour through the Alps with my class(German Class trip), but I went with the partiers from Frankfurt instead.
I'd have to say that every German person I encountered on my trip to Germany was very pleasant and helpful. I would love to go back someday, I've never been anyplace that had nicer people. Hope to see you around the Guide. PROST!!

It looks like you really enjoyed your trip to Germany. I´ve never met someone who praised the Germans kindness as much as you do.
But how did you manage to travel without your class? I mean normally you get problems with your teacher when you want to make your own excursions. And it´s a bit noticeable when one seat in the bus is suddenly not occupied anymore.

I was very convincing, and I was not taking no for an answer. The teacher knew that, so she let me go. I've never been one to bow down to authority.
Key: Complain about this post
