Went for my pre-op assessment today, got there early; found a place to park straight away 
, booked in; got seen by the 
almost straight away; blood pressure fine, blood sugar fine, ECG made pretty patterns, normal, height, not shrunk any, weight 4lbs lighter 
got seen by the 
all good there, could have won myself 50p betting that she couldn't find a pulse in left leg; then went straight in to the 
, I knew things were going too well 
I don't like people sticking needles into me. I can do it myself, and can also inject other people, had to do it to my son three times a day but the sight of someone coming at me with a needle makes me shudder. All set and nerved up I sat down in the special chair with the long arm rests, she had just put the needle in and the arm rest tipped up 
Of course she had to do it again so now I've got two lovely bruises and a very sore right arm to add to my almost useless left hand 
The 21st is the date of the angioplasty, 
then I'll have just the one limb in (semi) working order!
