The stitches came out today They were itching like . Three in my arm, where they took the spare tendon from and eight in the base of my thumb.
I've got a groovy black plaster cast on now for another four weeks ish but I still can't do
It's no wonder I was aching like hell, the back of my hand is still black and blue; the very nice plastercaster who 'did' me says it's because of the backslab I'd had on for the last fortnight. At least I can move my fingers more now so I'm back to stiching with a vengeance.
I've given the very nice <doctor) who did my hand 7/10 for his stitching skills. I'll have to hold a masterclass at the hospital

Yes, they seem all too willing to open up seams & re-stitch them don't they? maybe they should enroll in a patchwork class!
I'm sticking with 'wait until the scab drops off of it's own accord & see what's underneath' line at present; so ;let us know how it's going...we could maybe start a lovely thread on 'Past & present scar tissue issues'?

Well I'll start with a matching pair on each hand, carpal tunnel & trapezectomy, two on the right arm, five on the right arm. Great bob, I'm clumsier than I thought

Hope your arm is starting to feel better

Thanks chuck It's a lot less itchy now the stitches are out and so it's just a matter of time. At least I don't have the pain of the bones grinding together
