and feeling rather tender, the bone's in the bin and the fingers on my left hand look like burnt sausages .
I came through the op without too much effect on the old blood sugar level in spite of the orderly trying to press a trifle onto me .
So for the next few weeks please excuse any typos, but I'm doing it all one-handedly

Don't worry, my right hand is more than capable of holding duties
It's little things like getting dressed and undressed, bathed & hair washing & keeping the away from the plaster I'll soon be back to normality, just hope the hospital's got some black plaster in for Monday when I have it changed & (hopefully) the stitches out
