A visit to the eye doctor led to a visit to a brain doctor and I'm scared.

Cheer up!
You could always try to make the brain doctor feel more uncomfortable than you feel. I wouldn't go overboard since your trusting this guy with your brain, but have fun with it.
Ask him what he thinks about Moderation, Farenheit 451, and the Knights Templar...

Rereading my previous posting, I can see how it came out quite badly. I didn't mean to come across as a goofball, though that is how I do come across very often here on h2g2...
Anyway, I hope it is nothing too serious, and I wish you the best of health with as few headaches caused by medicine taken to stop headaches as possible.
