Is'nt it amazing, how the very thing you're looking for, is always in the last place you look?

I am a controller by profession (accounts dept.) and today I was searching for a posting that did not match, in the month of May.

I started with the beginning of May, and where do you think I found the fault? 31st of May, of course!
I have tried to fool Destiny a couple of times, but it never works out.
- If I search for a paper at the top of a pile, I will find it at the bottom.
- If I start searching from the bottom of the pile, the paper is almost at the top of the pile (the FIRST paper covering it, of course).
- So, once I tried searching from the top of the pile, and then changed tactics and searched from the bottom of the pile. And do you know - it was right in the middle!!!

I give up - Murphy's law rules!

I think I know what u are talking about, and it always seem to ocurr in the most inappropriate situations, the times when you just don't have time...

Exactly the mornign you have overslept, swallowed down a cup of coffee much too fast so that you burned yourself badly in the mouth, ran into the car with your shirt halfways tucked in order to reach the meeting you cannot afford to come to late too; someone has decided to upgrade the roads and therefore shuting down all traffic for a couple of hours.

I don't know who this Murphy is but she's a pretty strict judge if your'e asking me...

I just bought myself a new Walkman. Knowing that the more expensive walkman I bought, the bigger risk I'd drop it on the floor and it'd break in hundreds of pieces, I bought the cheapest one I could find (something like 10 USD), and what do you know - it even had a 1 year guarantee..!!
