Wow, a year ago today I started this journey into Hootoo.

(A few months ago this is where I'd say "I know I would have been", but that's not the case anymore. )

Well, things certainly would have been different, at any rate!

Work would have been more dull for one thing.

Well, that yes, but if I hadn't joined I would have been more productive in my job, thus getting a huge raise and promotion by now.

Yeah, probably.

Eh. I hear money and power corrupts. Maybe I am better off.

Money and power don't corrupt, they just give corrupt people the chance to be corrupt on a more noticable scale.

But if you hadn't joined you wouldn't have been able to corrupt Godben's religion or get a part in one of my comics.

Ooooh! So I have reached a pinnacle! Corruption on a large scale! Ah, life is good.
