Cambridge snubbed me...
and the job I applied for didn't happen...
and my mates have all gone back to uni...
and my car's broken down...
and my computer's broke...
and my nail varnish is chipped...
and other stuff more shoddy...
but on the bright side Moby Cd still plays and I'm getting a brand new car soon smiley - smiley

Just out of interest, if Glastonbury's cancelled doesn't that mean all the bands will be able to go to Reading or V2001 and then they'll be bigger and better and you can go to them instead...

Rough Times Ahoy!
Sorry 2 hear about your rejections and string of bad luck, uni is over-rated so are jobs! Cars are crap, push-bikes are much better! Computers do break down - I have to keep threatening my old 486 with really nasty things (like switching to linux, or throwing it in a pond) to get it to work! Shame about the nail varnish, wot color was it?
Other stuff is often shoddy at this time of year!

If you is feeling down, try digging for a copy of beethovens 9th, it rocks and I thinks its better than a cross between Viagra/Prozac/cocaine and really good friends! smiley - smiley

As for glasters......

not sure wether anything can compare, but come the summer, I shud have my camper on the road and have a few plans to visit friends and familiy across the country. Well I hope so, and that is wot is keeping me vageuly cheerful at the moment!

It could be worse...

Masochist Boy

Snubbed by Cambridge, eh? Chance would be a fine thing...
Keep trying, the right uni'll find you eventually.

Anyway, Reading is still on but it's very likely to be overcrowded and it's being said that it's going to be less "friendly" than usual: no tolerance security and bigger-angrier crowds. Unless of course you're into the nu-metal scene in which case being surrounded by a bunch of sweaty aggressive teenage males screaming, moshing and doing that devil sign with their fingers, in which case it'll probably add to the whole experience.

I recommend heading to Oxford: Radiohead, Supergrass, Beck (doing an acoustic set, no less), local bands and other famous folk being signed up.
