Thankyou! It's nice knowing you guys are here, I'm talking to my best friends on the phone later but it's not really the same as having your mum with you or them here too
*hugs*

I'm going up to my mums on Saturday and then up to Scotland for the funeral on Sunday so I think I'll need a small stash of these, thanks!

I still miss my Gran, she died in 1985.
I used to spend every end-of-Oct half-term with her.
Every hallowe'en reminds me of her little cottage in the middle of the country.
Now I'm a Grandma myself, my little grandson is so lucky, he has my parents for great grandparents.
My own grandad died when I was 14 months old, the other died before I was even born.
I think time spent with different generations is time well spent, you can learn so much from each other.
Have another I think you will miss your Gran all your life, but you will eventually smile when you think of her and treasure your time together.

Geez. what do I say Tink? You knew your gran? .... and she stayed in Scotland, health capital of the universe?!?! I suspect alien fairy genes may be responsible for her longevity.
Don;t mourn losing her, celebrate the fact you knew her at all
......and I'll be watching for those antennae sprouting milady.
