Yesterday I was updating my personal space, wanted to add some links and the news flash about me becoming a Guardian Angel. Then some devil has ridden me: I decided to look, how my page looks in the other skin (no, I WILL NOT speak this word out!).
It was awfull and horrible!!!
1. My lovely yellow was so pale I could scream
2. Those wonderful java-colour-changing just disappeared
3. The headers simply didn't exist - how can you edit the page then, I wonder?
4. The entire page looked pale and disgusting!
It's a drama and personally I think, it's no good for the eyes, cause this white and green and orange are just to bright.
Very sad... I feel pity with those, who take the first look at h2g2 in this skin; I think many of them just passed away. For me one of the reasons why I stopped and got curious was the classic goo skin.
Maybe now it's possible for the newbies to change it, I'm not sure.

I'd just like to say that I've only been a member for a couple of weeks, and one of the first things that I did was to change to Classic Goo (after changing my name). See? It is possible!

I've just had a traumatising experience.
H2G2 suddenly didn't recognise me, ever(SHOCK! HORROR!) and put me back in...no...I can't...
It wouldn't even let me back into my own personal space, EVEN when I logged in again (not that that wasn't fraught with peril), and gave me a newbies' page...and SKIN!

Really? Today I have no problems, but: it's 2.30 am at my place, so maybe that's why.
