It is about 5 weeks now since I joined up and I am still smiling as I go round and look at other people's personal spaces. And the funny things that come up for discussion! I just cannot resist logging on at least once every day and sometimes it is three times. I think I have become addicted.

Hi, Carole,
So, you have succumbed at last have you? It really is addictive isn't it, but so interesting. It seems to me that we have just about every type of person, and the age range is amazing. There is always something new to learn, and because people come from all over the world, we learn more about other cultures too.
The freedom to put up links (respectable only of course!) means we get to see web pages we would probably never find without spending hours surfing.
I am glad you are sticking around, and I look forward to some more of your stories. I am still laughing about cherries

Hello Sailor!
Thanks for you latest note. Yes I am still enjoying myself here, It is addictive and I usually feel drawn to log on at least twice a day.
My daughter has now joined too - she laughed her head off last weekend when she was down in Devon staying with us. She just had to sign up when she got home.
As you say the types and ages and nationalities here are so diverse that it can only be good for everyone. Everyone seems to have the same sense of humour though - that is magic.
Well, off to get my breakfast now (I am an early riser) - do pop by again goon

Well Carole, I am sorry to say I wasn't a fan - at least only of Harry Secombe's singing
Will pop by soon, but have a long list of outstanding emails to type, to friends all over the world, and that must take priority today.
Quite apart from that I need to sit down - I went on a big litter pick this morning, and though I enjoyed myself, I am suffering now
BTW, what is your daughter's nickname here? I might just say Hi! when I have a minute.

Carole, it made me smile
Why do I always discover my errors just as I have posted, even though I have previewed
I will keep a look out for LellyPomPom but doubt I'll find her without a number, unless I catch her when she is online.

Hi there Websailor
Lelly's number is 1289079. How can you find people that way? So far I have just clicked on people's names as they appear on my conversations.
Oh, somebody I was talking to said that Danny John Jules (The Cat is Red Dwarf) was an acrive h2g2 researcher? Do you know which one he is?

Sorry, Carole,
I haven't a clue Try clicking Help! button at the top of page and scroll down for FAQs. I seem to remember it tells you somewhere how to find Researchers, or perhaps you could ask your ACE. (the person who greeted you just after you signed up).
