Porcelain Monkey…
Mr Jack Posted Jul 1, 2005
Was feeling quite physically unwell on Wednesday, but I dragged myself in to the CMHC, only to find that pottery had been moved from Wednesday mornings to Monday afternoons and no-one had told me.
But they let finish tidying up this bowl left to go leather-hard so do the base without ruining the shape... But I was to ridden with anxiety to focus on starting anything new.
I made my way down to the college and after about hour I'd begun to calm down and feel OK about being in that environment...
One thing that was clear was that I need to think about wether I want to go on to Uni using this access course, really what I wanted from it was confidence and a qualification... Now I'm thinking maybe I should consider what local unis have to offer or whether to stick with the plan to get into work and perhaps do an OU course.
Anyway there still another taster session for the access course to do and the interview process to get through...

Well, I'd be all for going and doing a regular Uni degree if you think you'd be OK in the environment and be able to attend classes and stuff. However, that's probably something you should talk over with your therapist.

Mmm. I have to decide frairly soon where if at all to apply... An Access course is call an Access course because it's about giving you an access path to Uni and HE. But I'm not sure that Uni has been what I've wanted for a while. I think I'd rather do the distance learning gain any degree whilst working...
But I still need to give it more though.

I suppose you could always apply to uni and then decide later whether you feel like taking up any offers you get.

Indeed... Just because I've applied, doesn't mean I have to go. My feelings may have changed by then.
