I downloaded and installed the critical updates for Wind Doze '98 suddenly my computer froze... Being a bit thick/naive it didn't occur to me that the reason non 
Soft programmes weren't working properly was because of the update until after I'd unistalled Mozilla, when FireFox had been installed and didn't work it dawned on me that my computer has been spiked wityh something that stops me using WinAmp, FireFox, RealPLayer etc etc...

Get a mac! They're foolproof!

$499- Mac Mini- supply your own keyboard, monitor and mouse.

The cheaper Mac Mini sells for $499 in the United States around £260.
However, to buy the same Mac in the United Kingdom would cost £339.99.
Still outside of my current means... but possibly my next move...
