Spent the last hour in a near panic! I couldn't get a conection to the remote computer. The phone worked and had a dial tone but the modem just kept dialing clicking off and re-dialing every 5 seconds... I don't what I thought was going on... Wondered if the bill hadn't been paid and I'd been cut off and all sorts of paranoid ideas. Yikes. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Seriously, I felt trapped and isolated by the idea that I wouldn't be able to get online. Scared the hell outta me!

Yeah, I know that feeling, a few months ago my internet was really screwed and could only sometimes go on MSN for short moments, and I would have to try like 50 times to sign on... it drove me insane! Lack of internet scares me. I depend on it.... kind of sad, really... ah well. All is good now.

I come back here and spend several hours online... I get more human contact sitting in front of this monitor at weekends than I do in the week.
