h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The things that've been going on this weekend...my goodness!

First off, my book's finally being read by people! I've popped over to Lil's Atelier (ain't been there in ages), and got a few people interested.

But you'll never guess what I heard as soon as I got there...
Mike A come szooming in, and then calmly announces that we should go and see one of his threads...
And what did I find there?
I found that Mike A and Persephone are getting hitched!!
Truly excellent news!

Then, I popped onto ICQ for the first time in ages, and had a chat with Peregrin about a few things...one thing that come up was Demon Drawer and Fashion Cat.
Yes, after their visits in London, they're getting hitched too!
I wish one of my greatest friends on h2g2, and his now best 'friend', all the best, and hope to be hosting their virtual wedding on the Space Station.
Can't wait for the real wedding though!

And another note. After reading a few of DD's posts and journal entries, I found out that Eomando is also going through similar stages!
Now being at Uni in Londn, she was able to meet with Demon Drawer, Fashion Cat, and Paul Prefect all the way down from Germany!
You guessed it: Eomando and Paul Prefect are also in lurve...
Not getting hitched yet, but still...
I wish her and PP all the best in their future lives...

Well, what an exasperating weekend. Who knows what the *week* has in stall!

A hefty overdose of cheery smileys is one way to sum up the weekend!
S'been very productive, true, and not just for me, it seems. What a set of coincidence! Well, I hope everyone feels as happy as I do right now

Not yet, but unless my computer decides to wipe my temporary internet files, I have those six chapters stored for reading tomorrow afternoon. Do you write often? Do you have any more works of fiction? Hey, I better check your guide entries! I love reading myself .

My Guide entries are mainly VR orientated...for example, the Space Station Big C, my Virtual Prez Campaign Page, and so on...
The only RL entries I've written are reviewing a restaurant, and going over the Laws of Infinity (the latter one not even being finished!)...but read if you will...

I haven't written any other stories recently, and any old stuff is too embarassing to disclose!

I went through your homepage - linked to the H2G2 Realisation Plan while I was at it - and noticed that VR played a significant role. I expect that reading your story will crate a better understanding of how this works, yes? Well, Monday afternoon it is

If I feel confident enough, I may share my stories...it's a personal thing when it comes to sharing these, eh? It takes time to find the right inspiration, and though it don't feel it, it takes time to write it too. And then it becomes your kid, your product, your gift. Hope everyone will like it. Gaah, who be good at English?!

I'm hoping to get it published in paperback (though I'm heavily researching e-books), so I'm not going to post any more of my story online for copyright reasons...but I think I'll let people see the first six chapters, and I'll always give a quick résumé of the chapters I've finished so far...

Yeah, I meant to ask you about publishing and online 'tasters'. I think it's a fine plan you got there. There's been a few big names getting in e-publishing, but to be honest, if I was an author I wouldn't get too excited about it. Then again, I'm a kid who don't have access to a credit card to read the stuff online, so of course I wouldn't be too excited!

I'm giving publicity to whatever deserves it. You're at Lil's Atelier - can you imagine fighting a Deathmatch in there?! I need to get my copy of Half-Life back. I swapped it for Carmageddon 2 just over a year ago *^_^*
