Good news, Bad news.

I've just accepted an offer on one of my houses.

The good news is that this will mean I'm no longer paying two mortgages with only one salary, and with therefore be able to afford expensive habits, like eating every day.

The bad news is I will shortly no longer be able to use the phrase "one of my houses".

Swings and roundabouts, eh?

Do you have any staff? Being able to say "I'll have my see to it" is just as good, if not better than saying "one of my houses"...

I wouldn't have thought you'd have staff, you'd have 'people'. As in, 'One of my people will deal with that'

I used to think "people" meant everybody, but apparently not so. It excludes bosses.
