This Christmas I decided to change the lights outside our bungalow. I thougt it might be nice to have some nice sparkly blue LED lights: nothing too ostentatious. So I put them up last weekend. I awoke this morning to find out that some little sh*t had torn them down during the night and shredded the cable, ruining them completely.

That is outrageous! Are you sure they weren't blown down in the night by a strong wind?

Oh, I'm sure I have quite a few miserable neighbours. They live close to me, after all...
Whoever it was, was probably local. We live on a long straight road up a hill, opposite a golf course. It's right on the fringes of the suburb, and goes nowhere in particular (it used to be a drive for a country house that got knocked down yonks ago). Because it happened way after midnight on a Saturday I suspect it was some drunken yob who just happened to be passing through.
