From Distant Shores

It's four weeks since I last managed to find the time to write a journal entry. True, I have been busy working but the time has just flown past.

What is even more unusual is that I haven't bought a single CD during the four weeks. I'm one of those lucky people who can listen to music of my own choice when I'm working in the office. Perhaps that's one reason that I work such odd hours.

Recently, I've been listening heavily to my very limited ska and reggae collection and Don Pullen's and The African Brazilian Connection's Ode to Life. Excellent, expressive piano playing, quite percussive in nature, over a relaxed latin beat spiced up with some good horn playing.

I like the sound of that. Wouldn't be anywhere on the net that I could take a listen, that you know of?

Oh yes... hi, I'm Pegasus, this is my watch... *does swift circuit around the room and lands again majestically* ...and that was time flying.smiley - winkeye Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Like your name, appreciate the philosophy, now how do we convince the rest of the world?

Hope to see you around.smiley - smiley

Pegasus

I'm afraid not. I don't listen to much music over the net. The lines here are so slow that every 30 seconds or so you get a scratchin' interlude. It improves a lot of music but not the things that you really want to hear.

Appreciated the aerobatics and thanks for not leaving your greeting card. (I don't have any roses in the garden which need manure).

To date, I have been singularly un-impressive at convincing the rest of the world about anything and even less so when it comes the rest of h2g2. Anyway, like the tortoise, I will continue to the end and hopefully some of the hares out there will catch on. It is going to be a long process, people aren't called hare-brained without good reason.

I'll pop over to your place soon.
