I'm going to try and do something in here every day, at least until the end of the millenium. David Bowie inspired me this morning in the Big Breakfast.
Well I've been chucked out of here twice today they've been testing the generator, just in case you understand, no panic here in the UK, not enough space to run off to anyway. The place is a ghost town, everybody seems to have taken a long holiday.

Well, you're lucky...I'm here in case any "production support" issues coem up and need fixing but (a) 90% of the offices are closed and (b) there's a code freeze in place so even if a bug is reported, I'm not allowed to fix it. So, internet and coffee drinking it is then

Got chucked out of ghost town altogether, back home in the comfort zone. Now where did I put that bottle of Jack.

Explain!! I'm certain that this is a British television show, and, being American, I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Explain, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?

Bowie was determined to right a daily entry in his website journal every day. Well I kept it up for the last Millennium let's see how it goes in the new one.

The big breakfast is a breakfast TV show on Chanel 4 (UK commercial TV).
see http://www.bigbreakfast.channel4.com for details.
Basically it is a counter to the banal dross that passes for breakfast TV in the UK...and it has been very succesful as such.

Cheers Duncan, I was so cold in work my brain must of ceased up when trying to answer that last query. At least now having exercised my right to leave the below acceptable heating standards I ca njust about feel my legs again.

(My machine is in Polish settings today, hence the odd looking date )
On the down side, I take it you're now paying for the internet connection.
In todays Big Breakfast, Jonny Vaughan denied rumours that he was to leave and go to the states...as he has too much "form" to be let through immigration

Yes that is the downside.
However didn't see much of Johnny this morning, slept through alarm and had 15 minutes to get ready for earliest possible collection time. Fortunately my lift was 15 minutes later than this again.
Here's hoping we don't lose Mr. Vaughan as he is the best thing to happen to British TV since .......... Alexander Graham Bell.
