This may be my last journal entry for a while or forever.
With a dear friend one of the few who had a lower user number than me being forced from H2G2 by the actions of so called 'community volunteers' I am seriously considering my future here.
1. I will complete all the entries that I have started.
2. I will complete the current season of Fantasy Football and Phantasy Phootball.
3. I will probably do very little else on here.
4. If you want to keep up with what I am doing there is always my blog http://linlithgow-libdems.blogspot.com/

Oh come on, DD, not you as well
If folk had consistently either, ignored LW, or followed through with the complaints procedure instead of laying into him left right and centre, then none of this would have ever happened.

GD I did ignore LW. I didn't join the mob to porce him out.
Unfortunately while not looking to find him it came to me everywhere I went.
Now some of the few things that were keeping me here have gone.
Its been hard enough coming to the place I meet my ex-fiancee for the past few weeks as it is.

Thing is GD, a lot of us HAVE followed the complaints procedure and nothing has ever come of it. What else can people do if Them Upstairs aren't listening?

Fords, including the replying to the moderators "oh no it isn't" e-mail with a message as to why, "oh yes it is"? That is the one that gets the results. Trust me on this point. Honest. OK?
And love to EV if he's listening in.

DD - I am sorry to see you go. I realise that with your private situation and the political stuff and then an emotional bad thing like this, it's a likely thing to conclude.
Having been here for 6 years too, either I am not as emotionally tied to it ( who am I tring to kid ) or I am just more likely to stay along for the parts that are good for my ride and generally ignore the others. Anyway, I'm staying!
Anyway - it's been a pleasure, you'll be missed in the salon and a lot of other places here. And don't do anything I wouldn't do.
Which leaves you plenty of options!

DD, I sympathise and wholly understand your decision. I've long since been of the same mind myself. I lurk a bit, but writing entries holds no fun for me and almost all the people I knew on here seem to have moved off for pastures new.

Afraid I don't understand that, GB, but rest assured if you think I was including you in the 'almost all', I wasn't. Yours is about the only journal I visit at present...

'*About* the only journal', I said! Crikey!
*hurriedly goes and adds journal to friends list in hopefully surreptitious fashion*
