even when I'm not having fun.
It's been two months, and no job. I've got one month left, then I won't be able to pay my rent, and I'll be out in the street. Two friends and my sister have offered to take me in, but if I haven't been able to find anything in 15 months (with a three month respite), what chance I'll find something when it's down to the wire? I will not be a burden on anyone!! Feeling very anxious and very alone.
Don't hear from so many people now, I think they're afraid what they'll hear from me.
Agencies suck. No damn good at all.

I'm basically an administrative assistant, but then so is everyone else, apparently. I've also been a payroll clerk and a lot of other stuff that isn't in high demand.
BUT, I've got two interviews tomorrow -- send some good vibes out California way? And thank you.

I got a job! It's a temporary one, and I'm filling in for someone who's on medical leave. She'll be back in 2-3 months, and unfortunately I LOVE the company, just don't think I can work my way into a job there, due to lack of knowledge. Mortgage management.
Drat. Still, having money come in means the kitties are saved for now, as I won't be homeless. And I *will* save every single thin dime I can get my hands on, so I will have money to survive on when this is over.
Now maybe I can relax for a few weeks.

Hi, Scan!
I'm *not* giving up, I'll have 3 months to convince them they need me somewhere in the organization.
I'm the second temp the agency sent; the first one was late 3 days in a row and found sleeping on the keyboard on Wed. I must fit the company requirements: I can tell time and I'm not intermittenly comatose...
In fact, I got complimented on that a couple of times Friday...
