I just found this website, and posted my first entry. I hadn't done my intro page yet, but thank you for visiting! My intro page is now up. I still don't know what I wanted to do, but I want to have an excuse to do some daily writings, since I haven't written seriously in years.

How long does it take for an entry to be reviewed, and will you be notified if it's not up to par?

Yes, they are very nice in informing you if your entry isn't "up to par"... you'll get an emial directly from Mr. Mark Moxon, our editor in Chief! Unfortunately, the process takes a long time... they say about 12 weeks, but it is actually longer than that.... BUT! don't give up hope.... submit now, and ask other people to look it over... with any luck, by the time it comes up for acceptance, it will be so perfect that they have no choice other than to accept it

Where might I find some some poor sap Sub-Editor, or the like that I can connive into suffering my trite babble?

The thing is, you don't need a sub-editor... just got to Vegiman, and ask him to consider your piece for the Fun Run 4, where people do this kind of thing for fun!

What is the Fun Run? I am many-much-confused.

if you click on the little h2g2 sign in the top left corner of the screen it will take you to the front page where you can find the fun run, our local paper and many other interesting things that should help you out quite a bit....i would explain them all here but it would take up a lot of space and in the end you would probably still be quite confused

I found the fun run, and the Post. I have also been doing so new writing. Writing articles is a new style for me since I am more familiar with writing scripts, or poetry. 'Tis a shame that there are so few sub-editors that it takes 12 weeks to get something rejected around here. Why, if I was running things, I'd just reject everybody without reading any articles. I promise faster rejection times!

Well, Shazz did promise to hire more people in December... but then again, I hear the tick-tock as December slowly fades away....
