Hi SF I hope you are well.

This is a thing you might be able to help me with please, if you don't mind my asking.smiley - smiley
Can you recommend a store that sells sim free or virgin mobiles in France It needs to be able to take the large standard SIM not the small ones. It would be smiley - magic if you could help.

PS. As close to Mayenne as possible please.

Thanks in advance.

Hi bob smiley - smiley
I think any reasonably sized supermarket would have a phone department, where they'll sell "empty" phones. There are a number of chains.
I couldn't really tell you, but I'd hazard a guess that they'll have some that take the bigger SIM cards, even if the standard these days seems to be the smaller ones...

smiley - erm That's not really helpful, is it ? smiley - erm

I actually had to google Mayenne to make sure where it is, my British geography is probably better than my French geography. smiley - laugh

It's been a bit of a busy week at work, as I had to train a new guy (I'm changing jobs - within the same place - and he's my replacement), but it's over now, and he's pretty much ready so my conscience is clear. smiley - ok

What about you ?

Photos and research. Sounds like a good programme. smiley - ok

Yeah, I think supermarket is your best bet.
Of course it also depends how sophisticated you want it.
There are also several chains of "technology shops" that could sell some phones.
Still, I'd try supermarket first, and if it doesn't work out, then move on to places like Fnac, Boulanger or Darty (these will most likely be found in big commercial areas outside of towns).
