That was a great item - it is very pleasing to see what can be done to make nature accessible to everyone
I have been to the Everglades, many years ago, but I've not been to the east coast of the US yet. An impressive variety of parks - a redwood forest must be a sight to behold, and the photo of the Zion National Park with the red rocks and the blue sky is amazing!
I enjoyed reading a few more of Cory Lee's articles on his blog too - it was 1992 when I went to Florida and travelled on a bus for the first time because of the ADA and then the UK got the Disability Discrimination Act in 1995 so I'm very lucky these days to be able to go to many places like nature reserves which have parking, visitor facilities and good paths
