To live in a poor manner, or on credit
Just about sums my life up at the minute, so I shouldn't be running up phone bills instead of studying should I??

Your borrowing the cost of rent from your mum, your switching over your limit. You have no money to your name, and then sudennly...
You get a £500 hardship loan.
You get a grant of £2000 to help you stay on at uni.
You get offered two jobs in the same week, and get offered a credit card and two storecards, when you've never been alowed them before, and suddenly its bizzare, but you can afford to eat!! And just when I want to celebrate, I can't cos I'm not alowed any alcopops!!

Tempo tissues are as effective as the advert says, but they are still not as lovely and soft as kleenex Balsam. This is my definately considered opinion... I have a job interview tommorrow for which they require keyboard skills, and if it wasn't for h2g2 I would never have had the practise to get my typing back up to the level it was when i left school, or actually i think I'm getting faster. Still can't spell though!!
