Episode MCMLXLIXJ: A New Page
Bit of a new experience for me. I`ve been trawling the web for a while now without bothering to put anything back myself, but h2g2 is hard to resist.
I`m feeling a little rusty. Sixteen months of learning to express myself in the simplest, most straighforward way possible has left my erudition gland severely atrophied. The formerly well toned muscles of my wit are now flabby and pale. The conversations which used to be razor-sharp are now as dull as the inhabitants of C*****. I am forced to admit that I have become a worker.
At a recent reunion with my pre-work friends we all agreed that the thing we miss most* is the sharing of the diseased ramblings of an insane mind with an equally insane* mind. And suddenly along comes h2g2* to provide just such a forum. Luck?? Or Predetermined and possibly malevolent fate?? (Certainly malevolent in the sense of inflicting my terrible grammar on you all (and my ridiculous overuse of brackets (I really must learn to use footnotes*))).
At this point of course I realise that I can`t think of anything to write. Perhaps it`s time to think about this a little.......
