Hey Gaz, how are you? I feel like poo. My throat is killing me, despite the painkillers, and it is full of nasty phlegm-like gunk. I'm utterly miserable actually Tell me a funny joke to cheer me up please - or give me something interesting and not too challenging to do ... please

True Story:
I was finishing writing the dept. quiz yesterday when, in the history round, I spotted a duplicate question, giving me 15 minutes to invent a new history question...
AAARGH!!!
I finally went with:
In which English town was a wooden bronze age boat recently restored, having been discovered by workmen digging the foundations for a new road?
If you don't know the answer, I'll tell you tomorrow.

Cool question - do you think anyone will get that one? Restored isn't exactly a word I would have used. it was discovered in Dover, then pre-treatment at Dover before freeze-drying conservation at Portsmouth. Then re-assembled at Dover (but not exactly restored - it has not been made to look like new or as found - the cut marks are still visible) - so 'restored' is a funny one - professionally speaking
And the workmen were only sort of digging foundations - actually they were digging a ruddy great hole for a water pump for the subway under the road.
So where's the quiz then?
I got a new e-mail from Brian today - was this prompted by you or just good timing?
