GDZ I have just read posting 1446 on the Safri thread with dismay.

I know this is your first outing with us so I will assume you didn't realise that your statement "RD, you can stop opening and closing the trunk/boot and don't be pushing or pulling anything either" is a bit out of order.

It's customary not to go about issuing orders to fellow adventurers and I'm a bit hurt by it. I allow my close friends like GL and Lil to take liberties with me but you haven't earned the right to do that yet.

As an impartial observation I think you are getting too attached to the raft - it's just a piece of equipment that can be discarded and used at will you know. You have been granted a temporary privilage of managing that piece of our kit but we can't allow that to distract us from our adventure because you want to stay with it. The raft isn't central to the adventure and it's increasingly not needed.

The raft will come to the end of it's usefulness son as we now have to go through the CLI-STUMPED Mine as the plot depends on this - you may not realise this but we spend weeks and weeks preparing these adventures and GL and I are constantly working in the background preparing scenario's, characters and plot lines. We have had to build over 30 characters to populate this adventure which will be introduced as time goes on.

To draw a line under this GL has generously given you the opportunity to take the raft along and you should satisfy yourself with that. I'd also prefer if you didn't issue orders to me again - it's not nice and you wouldn't like it if I did that to you.

I realise that you might not want to hear this but I'd rather say it to you in private rather than it spill out onto the thread.
