Well, yes it's true. I have decided to take up residence. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes, but that usually goes with the territory. Thanks for checking me out so immediately, hopefully others will follow your lead. I've tried other web communities and been severly disappointed at the lack of users checking out other users, so imagine my surprise when I had barely finished inputing my page and you were already replying! Anyway, thanks again and may benevolent warm fuzzy feelings surround you!

P.S. Love the fish! I think it's great that there are options other than the general, run-of-the-mill computer faces.

Are you for or against smiting?

Well, generally for smiting, but it all depends on who is being smited and who gets to do the smiting. I prefer to do most of the smiting myself, just to be sure nothing gets out of control. That doesn't mean there aren't opportunities for others interested in smiting, however.

So, you're all for a spot of smiting when the need arises; does this make you a generally good and kindly god with a few spiteful tendencies? Or possibly a mean and spiteful god who is just in it for kicks?

If it is the first of these two, then what does your opposite number from the ravening hordes of evil have instead of smiting?

If it is the second, is there need for evil in your theology?

But the question I would most like to know the answer to (which being God you will be able to provide)is where have all the Wimpys gone?

Well, you see, I'm kind of a mix of all things, good, evil, and what not. If you'll notice, my arch-nemisis isn't evil, it's seriousness. Those on the serious side of things unfortunately lead a rather bland existence, nothing silly to brighten their days, and they work diligently at making things difficult for those of us sillies. Are you interested in applying or just curious?

P.S. The wimpys aren't really gone. They're hiding!

By the way, are you just a human-kind only type deity, or for any animals, creatures, plants???

Wow! I know the guide is supposed to answer any question you can ask but what a shock! Only my second trawl through H2G2 and I`ve found an answer to the biggest question of all - You do exist (and after I bet against you).
Doesn`t surprise me that you`re into smiting though - power corrupts and all that. Personally I think you`ve been very restrained considering how annoying us humans can be.

Eric the Bluebottle? Dierdre the Bluebottle?? And does having six legs make it easier to type and drink at the same time??

Well, I'm truly shocked! God, eh? I'm one of these athiest types - am I supposed to eat my hat/words/non-beliefs now????? Am I to be smitten for my heratic non-beliefs???? Are you the forgiving type?

Interesting to see you all here! Sorry if I burst your bubbles with the sudden knowledge of my existence, but well, you can't have everything. I'm definitely a deity for all purposes, what good would I be if I wasn't? So if you know any animals, plants, others who are pondering their spirituality, let 'em know I'm available. I'm normally a fairly forgiving type, so if you've just come into your belief/faith/whatnot, I'll be happy to forgive your earlier ignorance. (Though if you'd like to be smitten anyway, let me know. I'll pass the word along to the applicant for the Wicked Spirit, you know, have to have people proove their talent and such.) Do spread the word about, I'd be ever so grateful. Hard to run the universe and keep pontificating, though not impossible. Well, ta!
