h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I was just doing a little sorting out and stock-taking, since I'm now exactly 3 months here on h2g2. I realised that as an ACE you were the very first person to welcome me to the site, and that friendly welcome really helped me to settle in. So here I am, with a few Front Page entries succesfully completed, a couple of things in Peer Review, and a University Project well on its way (not to mention a certain notoriety from my involvement in the ban on Arpeggio!)

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I suppose as an Ace you greet a lot of people who just wander away, but there are always going to be some who love the site and really make themselves at home. I really appreciated your efforts as an Ace, and I wanted to thank you for them again.

Hi Azara, I hadn't forgotten you either, you were one of the early ones to respond to my ACEing, I've been quite impressed with the entries I've seen, and in some way proud that I got the chance to greet you.

BTW, on the Arpeggio thing, I was impressed by the detective work. I notice d some of what was going on, but decided it was best to stay out of it.

Not to worry, I often find it's the very posts I intend to consider carefully before I reply, that can get left aside and never answered at all.

I hope your new year at University goes well - though you still haven't updated the reference on your home page to being in first year

I'll take that as a complaint that I need to update my homepage, you may have noticed that I was looking for them
