Mouse OK, but now it's Mice!

Well all the computer stuff's back in working order now (except for that cable between the sound card and the speakers that I forgot to attach). But a furry mouse keeps appearing in my kitchen, avoiding all traps, except to munch the bait and get away safely. Taking advantage of it's pandimensional abilities I expect.
NASA say they've (probably) discovered surface water on Mars. Is this possible? If so what does it mean? Is there, could there be, life on Mars?

Not yet normal

I may have my modem back but things just ain's what they used to be.
My mouse won't drag, Javascript won't work, my cheapest ISP won't connect and I can't even open links in a new window. Either that lightning fried more bits than I thought or my drastic solutions have left their signature behind.

Stormy weather

Don't know why - there's no sun up in the sky, stormy weather....
Just one bolt of lightning to make my PC flicker and my modem die. Leading to sudden withdrawal from H2G2 for 2 whole weeks. I finally got the new modem working today so I'm back.
Ain't no stopping me now.

Still working

So the redundancies were finally announced yesterday and I wasn't on the list after all. Apparently I am a valuable employee and will be kept on. I will probably be 'reskilled', whatever that means, but I still have a job. I should be relieved but it was horrible watching so many people being sent home yesterday. The bad feelings will take quite a while to clear.

Old Friends

We had a 20 (!!) years on school reunion yesterday. Just to make us all feel old. Weird how some people haven't changed a bit and others are barely recognisable. Brilliant to see again the people I'd always regretted losing touch with. The hard part was being polite to the few I'd never wanted to see again.
