How could I not know who you are?
I have had a really good week so far (though the humidity at Kiyomizu today was fairly horrendous) and it was great to see you.
Kyoto has been okay, did the palace this morning then Kiyomizu and Sanjusangendo this afternoon, then Gion tonight (Gion was a bit tourist-tacky to be honest). Tomorrow the castle and a few other places then back to Tokyo on the shinkansen.
I was going to email you, honest!

Free hotel lobby internet (a great help throughout the trip).
Osaka sushi was great, Sue and Mike asked me to thank you again (they are safely back in the UK now).
Nice to hear from you - stay in touch!

The pleasure was mine too.
Not sure if I'll be able to get to Osaka again in the rest of my time here, but I will try!
