Hi Awix how in the name of all that is good are you?
Is it really 2007? Well I'm technically no longer onsite, so just consider this a kind of public e-mail!
Are you still getting involved with the post? There was some insanity a while back, which seemed to take a ridiculous amount of more insanity to set right, but it seems to be chugging along now... I'm going to write a book on that saga one day
Anyway! That reminds me of the old days of me writing and you doing a great job of editing! I think hopefully I'm better at organising my stories these days!
And Doctor Who! I know its the talk of the town, but we were talking about it when it wasn't really talked about...
Anyway! How the hell are you?
Terran (and any other psuedonym you may know me by )

Hope you get this, Terran...
I am rarely onsite myself these days, only as often as I can get to the nettycaff (and not even then every time).
My only involvement with the Post is writing film reviews - which are weirdly out of synch with the UK release schedule anyway as Japan gets them either a bit early or ridiculously late. My tenure as co-editor was a bit of a dark spot in the Post's history anyway so perhaps that's just as well...
Japan doesn't really get Dr Who (well, on satellite, out of date, but only the main show) and I haven't seen the Xmas special at all so I am being careful to avoid spoilers until I get home in November (by which time I will have about 20 episodes of Torchwood, 14 episodes of Dr Who and X number of Sarah Janes to catch upI
Apart from that I think If‚ doing okay..B

Yes you're going to have fun when you get back! Sorry its taken so long to get back to you. You'll be glad to hear part 4 of the Flame of Terric boew (that story I started "oh... so long ago"), has been submitted for the post! And am just waiting for it to go through...
And your co-editorship should be praised more. Its far more difficult to keep the post in those times, and I don't think any of us got as much credit (in fact the opposite) that we deserved. Brave people stand up in dark times.
Anyway, you've got a lot to look forward to in November! So whats the main show in Japan? I've always wondered!

The biggest show in Japan I'm aware of (they don't do much drama out here) is a remake of an insane 70s fantasy series called Monkey!, which ran on the BBC in the 80s and Channel 4 a few years ago.
Anyway I am glad to say that courtesy of the grey areas of the internet I am now completely up to date on Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane, you name it! Courtesy of the Dr Who wiki (which I've been fiddling about on) I even know the current thinking on the 'Mister Saxon' enigma.
Thought the Shakespeare episode was fantastic, even if they didn't even acknowledge the City of Death reference...
Key: Complain about this post
