What an unsavoury turn this thread has taken... or perhaps it's just my mind that works that way...
Now I think of it TB's done a lot of bearded acting. There was that Sinbad movie, the Rasputin thing, that Robin Hood film in the 80s...
I've noticed William Russell has a similar affinity, except his is for chainmail.
(The most pathetic attempt to change the direction of a conversation ever, wot?)

Just for once I wasn't being filthy, though that does take some believing of me, I know...
I'm actually very fond of Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, though it's not a patch on the 7th Voyage, or Jason and the Argonauts.
Wonder if anybody's done an entry on Ray Harryhausen? I must go and look...tomorrow.
