THAT QUESTION
As I woke this morning, I felt miserable :-( I dragged myself out of bed and downstairs for breakfast. Pouring out my coffee I groaned at the very thought of THAT QUESTION.
When would it surface today, I thought. Would it be during coffee time again? Would it force itself rudely into my consciousness in those few moments of peace between settling comfortably and industriously tearing sheets of pécu from the roll? And would all the other colleagues keep complaining about my pondering THAT QUESTION again? I’d reached the point where I was sobbing into my corn flakes. I really felt like going back to bed and phoning in sick :-( But, in the end, I decided that a problem shared would at least allow me to enjoy being a complete pain to all around me.
When I arrived I had a wonderful surprise:-) Everyone was arguing about THAT QUESTION! I just knew that I was going to have a wonderful day! It really was the best day ever. ABSOLUTELY NOBODY got any work done and everyone was totally at screaming point by the end of the day.
