Not quite sure what happened to these conversations. I certainly didn't unsubscribe. However HK English still under wraps (or bamboo scaffolding) It will get finished before I go on holliers. Sorry. It's very difficult to make it light-hearted, expecially as I've just read 100 awful essays for end of course exams.Hong Kong English IS getting worse, and mainland English is getting better. These kids are going to be out of work all their lives if they continue to believe that Cantonese will be enough. I may start a crusade.
