Unplanned ewe turn

Post 1

Is mise Duncan

Driving down to Sligo on Saturday I spotted a sheep on its back with its legs waving in the air.
According to my agriculturally knowledgeable wife this would have caused it a painful death if not rectified so I had to hop across the fence and turn it legs-downward.
It trotted off after being righted so apparently hadn't yet lost anything but face.
(And that counts as my good deed for the week I think)

"Riggwelter" is English - but apparently comes from old norse for backtumbler.
