Addiction is right - but rather than costing; this one pays rather well .
Actually I _need_ a PC as the recent job market is swinging away from my core skills so I need to improve my XML and Java stuff; and I can't do that on a clients time/machine. Plus, with a bit of nepotism thrown in, I could help Gordon if he has a sales slump .

no sorry you have lost me. I don't pretend to understand IT except for the "If it is not working properly, turn it off and turn it on again" principal. It is a shame I switched jobs actually cos at my last place they recruited the IT department on looks first and skills second. *sigh* But it is not true about me taking a hammer to my printer just to get the cute South African over to fix it!
