Hi Zak,
As I'm pretty certain you're aware that h2g2 is under old management, well it's more a case of giving the lunatics the keys to the asylum, but anyhoo I digress.
One of the things that we're doing in the tidy up is removing the references to the BBC, as it's no longer a BBC site. The downside to this I'm afraid is that we're closing the BBC Testers group, and removing the badges.
I'm sorry, there's no easy way to say that. 
Don't worry though, we will in the near future be opening a h2g2 Testers group, so you could get a nice shiney new badge.
