I'm home, at last...
I only discovered Douglas about 4 or 5 years ago. I would say that it was long after everyone else I know discovered him, however, no one else I know has ever read his books or have seen the the movies/tv series or knows anything about him.
I recently picked up the Salmon of Doubt, for the third time, and saw a bit about H2G2 so here I am....home at last.
Okay, 30 years old. I write, perform, and record music with a band known as 1888 in Norfolk, VA. I would like to begin a writing career, if I wasn't so damned lazy. Preoccupied may be a better word.
I have three children that I love very much. Without them I would be a little more grumpy. Not that I have a predisposition to be grumpy, but I have my moments. Don't we all? I am in love with a girl named Shannon and this is an amazing feat. It is possible. Or very probable?
She is my life, the universe, and everything.
I also love the Beatles very much. And this is a love affair that has spanned coming up on 3 decades. But I guess thats not very long for some other fanatics. Oh yeh, I did use that word. I have a great love of music and some other folks that I could incorporate as the soundtrack are Pink Floyd and Wilco.
I love the guitar and everything about it.
