Background
This is me in a nutshell:
40 years in Computers from Paper Tape and old fashioned Valves to where we are today. (Surely that's enough for anyone!)
Aeronautical Engineering degree - but that didn't last long when I got distracted by the aforesaid computers. Did an Open University degree for fun - geology, biology etc.
Interested in birds (feathered), minerals (as in rocks), in fact anything in the natural history line, growing orchids and cacti, conservation issues.
Lived 7 years in Canada and 1 in Nigeria.
