Vincent Giles, a description.
Writing introductions are one of those pass-times that never seem to pass as much time as we'd like. Like a lot of other people in the world, I never really know what to write or what's expected.Okay, so I'll begin with the basics. I'm 22 and Male, I live in the city of Melbourne, Australia and my profession is music. I play the bass by trade (I say bass generically, because I dabble in both acoustic and electric bass guitar, and acoustic double bass.) I do gigs and I write and record, I have a jazz/improvisation band that I put together early this year and play with a couple of other groups from time to time. I'm trying to get into writing songs/music for other people. Be it film, TV, radio, jingles or just songwriting for other people. I'm a little lost as to HOW to do this and who to talk to.
Well, as far as I can tell, that's about all I should put here. I'm really glad that this site exists, but haven't had a chance to poke around as much as I'd like.
