I think women have more important things that need to be dealt with BEFORE getting all uptight about there being no women on bank notes once Elizabeth Fry (A692804) has been removed.
Most being to do with our bodies being considered OURS and not available for other people to poke things into, cut bits off of, or seal things up as and when they fancy. And when we complain about it, well it's our fault for owning those body parts and not covering them up with 20 layers of tin foil or something and not wearing bags on our heads.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jul 8, 2013
I'd have to agree with you there, Mina. It sounds like another story concocted by someone with too much time on their hands and jumped on by a news media with too much time to fill. But it's inevitable that stories like this will surface from time to time and be given column space, airtime and bandwidth that should be filled with far more important stories.
It was very nice, for instance, to see the worldwide coverage that Wendy Davis got a week or two back for her filibuster in the Texas Senate to stop the abortion bill that was going through, but Perry has called another special session and is determined to push it through no matter what. I haven't been following the news for the past week, but I'd lay a pretty good wager that this part of the story hasn't been followed up to the same extent, although it's every bit as important.
