No, not the jobbies, the fact that someone can just decide to take my beloved dogs and move them three counties to the other side of London.
Seriously, I'm not having a good time here. Customers have moved before, but I've grown very close to one of the three that are moving, I walked her alone for 7 months, giving her confidence, getting her over her fears, and have walked her every weekday in the year since, plus spending another hour in the house every day (the boys are too strong and frankly untrained for me to walk).
I cannot stop crying, and there is still a week's notice to work.

Thank you! Was feeling a bit sorry for myself yesterday, as the owner rang up for a chat about when we could say goodbye as I was part of the family. We also share a cleaner who lives in London so is determined to travel still, and she was in the room at the time giving helpful suggestions which weren't helping me try to *not* cry in front of my customer and I had a bit of a "ball my eyes out in a heap on the floor" moment.
She feels so bad about upsetting me, and she's supposed to feel happy that she's moving to such a fabulous new home.

Thank you, Mol, It is very few that can understand my 'Close to the edge' and 'Out there somewhere sense of humour', merely a simple character flaw. It is why I remain an anchorite
Mina, I lack sympathy, but not empathy.
