h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I was talking to someone today about Fred, she'd seen a dog who had similar problems to Fred when I got him. Then she said something about Fred having problems with people. Nope. He's NEVER had problems with people.

He used to bite me, but that was redirected aggression, he's never bitten anyone else (the excitable nips he does because he's so HAPPY to see people are not the same as being bitten, although obviously is still unwanted behaviour!).

So odd that she remembers him differently.

My experience is that memories are highly subjective and hardly ever objective, whether it's my own memories or those I share said memories with.

You should have mine, then you wouldn't think so, I had an awful life, my memories haunt me, I try and shut them out, put them to the back of my mind, sometimes something triggers them I hate my memories they have ruined my life, you wouldn't want to know! A smell can sometimes make me see terrable things that I because it's still haunts me.

Then try to focus on the good memories my friend. Face down the demons of your past and render them harmless It's all about coping mechanisms
