Hey Mina, I thought of you when I was watching them reminisce about the woman herself last night on the one show.
Just wondering what those in the profession think of her 'techniques' of dog training these days.
As I recall from my youth it involved a combination of reward and brutal force. As in, the little blighter did wrong so I'm going to hang it by the neck using a choke chain.
Do they still do choke chains and am I just being namby pamby or is beating dogs into being obedient still OK?
Just wondering.

Orcus,
Mina has left I haven't got my head round that yet, and while I know that begging isn't going to work right now
I had thought if we keep posting Barbara Woodhouse how tips to raise your dog she might not be able to resist eventually to put us right,
evil I know, I have no shame
think of the poor puppies Mina
*tries to look as puppy like as possible*

So why are people leaving this time? I've noticed Ictoan's left too.
I'm the cockroach of this place - one day there will be nothing left except a nuclear wasteland, tumbleweeds and me.
I'm not one to get upset over changes to the website and such though to be honest. I've never put too much emotional energy into the place which is why I guess I'm still here

, hopefully it won't come to that scenerio anytime soon
The four prople I know that have left or rarely come back each have their own story but they all have something to do with other peoples behaviour and moderation
Sometimes I pick from others that they just don't feel the same way about contributing, which I am not going to detangle, to lovely a morning.
Mina if you are I still miss you in the mornings and yesterday swl suggested your entry on sun lotion should go on the front page as he had looking around the web and yours was the best he had found
