h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am very new to using a computer,but did enjoy your page.I wonder if you
could give me any help regarding h2g2.
When I try to post a journal entry(click on feed),I can't figure what I
should do next--the page being almost blank.

I'm perfectly happy for you to contact me, it's always nice to meet a new face, although I always wonder how people find me.

I don't know what you mean by 'feed', but it look as if you signed up for an account on a message board - and they don't have the journal functionality. That's probably why it's not working for you.

Appreciate you taking time to reply;I think my problem is just'trying to run before walk'regarding the computer!

Feel free to ask about anything - if I don't know, I can at last point you in the direction of people who do.

What happens when you've clicked it? If you belong to a message board, it won't act the same as it does for me, as I 'live' on h2g2.

When I click it, I get an empty text box, that looks very similar to the one I get when I start a new discussion. I assume you aren't getting that?

If you want the full services that h2g2 has to offer, then it might be better to sign for another account up on h2g2 itself so that you can use them all. Then just visit the messageboards that you're interested in.

No I wasn't getting an empty text box.I think you are right in suggesting using another account name for h2g2.I came to the site with the same BBC
username from other message boards.Thanks for your help--I'll let you know if I'm more successful with my new name!
