Who am I to argue?

Mina,
"I know this is a public forum plaguesville, but would you mind starting your own thread next time please?"
I was unvisited by an ACE for several weeks after my appearance. They were, I believe, in short supply. I am not sufficiently reliable nor knowledgeable to apply for ACEhood but I "unofficially" made forays into welcoming the unwelcomed. In due course these were often picked up and added to by ACEs without comment. I have also seen welcomes from ACEs extended by other ACEs rather than posting a second or third.
That's the history.
This is the apology:
I am sorry that you are less than happy that I intruded on your posting irrespective of whether it was a hitherto unremarked breach of protocol or your personal preference.
And this is a question:
Was your comment occasioned by the fact of my contribution or its content?

Just the content, as it was about the zaphodistas. Not that I know much about them , or probably how to spell it. But I am trying to work with the hourse rules, and I'm not too keen on seeing people being asked to join straight after I've welcomed them. It may sound silly, rude, or pathetic, but that was all I was objecting to.
As to being ACEd, I was never visited by an ACE. It is nice that other people welcome new people if ACE's are in short supply, and thanks for that.
Key: Complain about this post
