Hello Mina
I see you joined my ship on yahoo... Nice to have you aboard...
Do you have any special preferences on what function you would like to serve on the ship???
I look forward to reading the bio on your character, I will watch the message space closely for when you post it.
Dax

Oh yes, I joined, then didn't post anything as I didn't know what to say! I'm going to adapt another RPG character, she's from Mekton Zeta if you've heard of it, but it's a similar thing, she's out in space killing things a lot. She'd better be security, rather than one of the diplomats! I'll go and get her and start writing her up.

Well, every position is open, so I see no problems with making her Chief of Security...
Just write it up like a "job application" Write name, age, gender, and race of you character. You might wish to add a small background story, but thats optional. Then write that you wish to apply for the position of Chief of Security.
I will the apply your rank and position to the crew manifest, which you will find in the database...
I have invited Galaxy Babe to be my first officer, but have not had a response from her yet...
I look forward to being protected by you

Excellent! I've got her out now, I just need to keep my attention off h2g2 for a while to write her up. Very difficult.

I will. I've started writing, anyway. I'll get AGB to answer as well, but she's a bit busy catching up on old threads atm.
You could try asking Nexus7, but I don't know if he'll fancy it or not.

I have invited NexusSeven now... Looks like this will be a complete inbread h2g2 ship. Maybe I should have named it the USS Heart of Gold

hmm... 16 years??? a bit young... I was a bit sceptical, but I decided to give you a chance.
She couldn´t have attended Starfleet Academy, could she???

Actually she was 16 when she started in June 1997, so we could say that it's her 20th birthday this month. How's that?

I have added a post that explains the age thing, please reply to it as soon as you read it, just for the record you understand...
By the way, does Mrs. Flasheart have a fist name???

Not that I can remember. She got nicknamed 'Private Parts' and now I can't remember if she ever had a name. I was pleased to see her married off to be honest, as they stopped calling her that.

Well it´s you character, isent it? You sound like everything about her is already pre-arranged. The whole idea is that you make her up yourself as you go along. You could just give her a first name...

I'll think of a name for her, I've been at work all day, and have to go out this evening, so I'll be along tomorrow. And I'll remind AGB to get in touch.

Great... I think I´ll start a storyline soon, I will just have to fill in the blanks for the missing crew.
Hopefully AGB will accept the position of first officer. I would appreciate you talking to her
Talk to you soon...
